Asked John to get a tuition free appointment to the University of Va. for Robert Semple. Concerning Broadus's invitation to work as a fund-raising agent for Southern Baptist Theological Seminary: "The probablility is increasing that I shall accept the agency. Please write me this week. I expect to be at Dover Association next week, and would like to make a speech there. Please state in what way you think it would be best to present the matter. Give me first, secondly, thirdly, etc."
